Description:

This module extends the Sun/Oracle JumpStart Enterprise Toolkit and adds a concept of 'Manifests' to the build process. A manifest is a set of instructions that can be re-used between multiple systems. For example, it might be a collection of scripts and files that install LDAP or a web server. This module is a half-way-house between the existing 'custom' module for JET where you specify individual host changes in each template, and the full blown hand written module. As most hand written modules use a common core of functions, the JetMFI module is a quick and easy way to keep the complexity out of the individual host template files.
